Our Founder

"As an experienced Global Marketer working in the biggest corporate CPG companies from Nestle, Fonterra to Unilever, I've experienced first-hand what one needs to build a successful Marketing Career at the highest level. But, Motherhood brings a layer of complexity when managing a career. As Mother's we're managing the physical load of child care on top of a work day, the mental load, the brain fog and for some daily guilt & shifts in our identity - impacting how we see and manage our careers. Early in my motherhood journey - I spent countless hours trying to find the right support, to learn from other successful women and see more clearly through the overwhelm, the juggle and the 'Mum-guilt'.
Having built global social communities previously on top of my Corporate Career, I'm building for other women, what I didn't have, setting out to reduce the isolation that exists amongst working Mums and empowering professional working women to connect at every life stage and find the support they need to thrive as a Mum and a Career Woman."

Self-sacrifice
Women face societal expectations that they will put their children and home life ahead of their career and selves, overlooking the potential of shared household responsibility and career advancement opportunities.

Non-inclusive Workplace behaviour
Over a third of women still experience non-inclusive, inappropriate behaviours or actions. Only one in ten believe they can make a complaint about a non-inclusive behaviour without it affecting their career.
Gender Pay Equity & Representation
Only one in ten women believe their workplace is making steps towards greater gender equity. The gap in workplace remuneration in New Zealand is currently 8.6% and higher still for Maori, Pacific and Asian women.

For women caregivers, the emotional toll of carrying the mental load of what's going on for those they care for and in the home as well as the guilt of not being physically present for them, is ever present.
The Emotional toll
For too long, women's health issues like miscarriage, infertility and pregnancy has been stigmatised. Many women still feel unable to take time off or seek support, leaving them to work through pain and suffer.
The cost of silence
